Students aren't the only ones in college who have increasing problems managing money and taking on debt, the schools themselves may have overextended themselves with a reliance on institutional credit and job expansion. Now that investments are headed south and new debt is harder to acquire, many colleges are considered significant cost cutbacks and/or tuition increases.
